We chose solar because the price at the time of installation was lower than traditional energy sources. We always try to make the green choice when financially feasible and with solar, it was not only feasible, it was advantageous. We have worked hard to spread the word that solar energy is now within reach for the average consumer. Over the course of the first year with our new panels we spent 35% less on electricity over the prior year. I’d say it was well worth it, especially since with our Power Purchase Agreement, the panels cost us NOTHING.
