We have always been intent about using non-fossil energy sources and reducing our carbon footprint. Installing solar panels was the right thing to do from a sustainability standpoint and it also made financial sense. In one year our system has generated more than 15 MWh which is more than what we have consumed. In the 3 years since we have installed solar panels, we are almost a zero net energy home now!
